Today, the Lord gave me to write to you. Well it's winter and it offers possibilities as well. With the gray hues when there is no sunshine it is so serene. The evergreens look so proud as they shine their deep greens. Cloudy winter days make me think of catching up on a movie I've been wanting to see, piling up to read a good book or cooking a pot of Chili. Just one of those days to relax and be lazy. We get to busy with work and other activities of life that sometimes a gray day is just what we need. We have done several houses in the gray tones and they are exquisite. Walking in to these homes gives you a sense of relaxation. Kinda the spa feel. It's also elegant, sophisticated, and industrial. It's funny how colors seem to change our environment. I think that's a blessing that we sometimes tend to overlook. It's a new year and everyday is a new beginning. I think we should maybe think on these things. When we see the seasons change or just simply looking out a window what ever time of year, think about the colors you see and how they make you feel and what they remind you of. They are such an inspiration to us all in one way or another. I leave you with this: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 |
